House for Art Collector
Studio Kiro is currently designing a new construction single-family residence for an art collector in New Orleans. The design was inspired by New Orleans’ shotgun style houses and celebrates the site’s rich context including Bayou St. John, New Orleans City Park, and St. Louis Cemetery. The owner had a very clear architectural and interior design vision that highlights his extensive art collection.
It is a unique design process collaborating with the Owner, Contractor Sandra Tomasetti, Artist Robert Tannen, and Landscape Artist Robin Tanner.
A two-story glass bridge responds to an existing large oak tree and connects the east & west sections of the home.
