House for Art Collector
The House for Art Collector is a new construction single-family residence inspired by New Orleans’ shotgun style houses and celebrates the site’s rich context including Bayou St. John, New Orleans City Park, and St. Louis Cemetery. The owner had a very clear architectural and interior design vision that highlights his extensive art collection.
It is a unique design process collaborating with the Owner, Contractor Sandra Tomasetti, Artist Robert Tannen, and Landscape Artist Robin Tanner.
A two-story glass bridge responds to an existing large oak tree and connects the east & west sections of the home.
