Kiro means yellow in Japanese. Yellow is commonly seen as the color of sunshine for Japanese children in early childhood. Throughout Asia, yellow is also the color of happiness, joy, harmony, and energy.

Studio Kiro is an Architecture and Interior Design firm based in New Orleans that provides a balanced and holistic approach to design.

The firm is founded on an attentiveness to the needs and the concerns our clients and communities bring to us, focused on a practice of collaboration with design professionals, artists, and engineers. We see the process of design as a way to make life richer, more vibrant, and more caring for all.

Our team consists of not solely architects and interior designers; but artists, environmentalists, advocates, and adventurers. We bring our broad spectrum of experiences to the work, bringing inspiration from our travels, the art and design we love, and an open mind to what is possible.

We offer full-service architectural, interior design, and planning services for Commercial and Hospitality, Educational and Cultural, and Multifamily and Residential projects. We balance big-picture ideas with attention to detail and respect for the project budget so the project goals can be fully realized.

We frequently collaborate with design experts locally and internationally to deliver the most enriched product for the client. Our hands-on approach consists of a continuous transparent dialogue with the client, user groups, and collaborators.
