Julian graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Design in Architecture. He has a strong interest in architectural models and woodworking, which he pursues in his free time.

Before joining Studio Kiro, Julian worked as a woodworking fabricator at a small furniture design firm, crafting custom pieces of furniture.  He also worked as a Research Intern, focusing on building models and researching the history and impact of the World’s Fairs in the U.S. This combination of fabrication, research, and architectural design has given Julian a well-rounded perspective on the design process, with a strong emphasis on both creativity and craftsmanship.
